DAG 1: Jinja - Jinja

DAY 4: Lake Rumira - Lake Muhanzi
1.350 meters
94 Kilometers
From one lake to another! Traveling trough green landscapes and incredible views everywhere you look!

DAY 5: Lake Muhanzi - Byjumba
1623 meters
72 Kilometers
We cross the lake by boat and start our ride on the other side of Lake Muhazi. The route follows the lake for 30 km... Then you know that the other 35 km will be all uphill. The sting is in the tail. You can take that literally here, but what a beautiful route! Byumba is a small town where we visit the local bar for a drink after the ride.

DAY 6: Byjumba - Musanze
1782 meters
93 Kilometers
Today we head into the mountains and drive to the volcanoes. Many people consider this stage to be the most beautiful stage ever. The landscapes on both sides of the route are breathtaking. It is therefore important to stop in time for a photo opportunity.

DAY 7: Musanze - Gisinyi
1404 meters
87 kilometers
We usually do this ride in the opposite direction, which involves a climb of almost 45 km... so that means we're going downhill now! Be sure to brake in time, or you'll end up in Lake Kivu!

DAY 8:Transfer to the airport
From Gisinyi to Kigali and then a flight back home. Busy day! And the end of a beautiful adventure. We did it!
