OUR JOURNEY
In 2010 Travel company Vélo Afrique was launched. A company with a clear mission: to motivate people to add Africa to their cycling bucket list, and delivering an adventure beyond all expectations. Vélo Afrique also motivated its contestants to help build schools in the countries they visited. This way, 15 years, 10 schools and numerous other supported projects later we have a recipe for real adventure. A way of exploring off the beaten path locations.
In 2025 it was time for the next big step. Time to use these 15 years of knowledge, connections and passion to branch out into other forms of adventure, under a new name, Vélo Adventures.

He ensures that it is not just a cycling vacation but a cycling adventure. Each trip is unique and provides unforgettable moments for the participants. He takes you along on his adventures!

Taking adventurous pictures whilst riding alongside the group? That's what Rune does best! He makes sure we go home with incredible stills, manages the social media channels as well as the website and helps out with some behind the scenes planning!
