What's the difficulty like?
Everyone rides at their own pace, want to ride fast? Go for it! But you don't have to. The track is pretty accessible, designed with Mountainbike and Gravelbike in mind. As long as you're used to spending a day on a saddle, you've got this!

DAY 1: Jinja - Jinja

The first day is a loop, cycling trough fields of sugar cane to Lake Victoria the sourse of the Nile. On the way back to our accomodation you cycle trough small settlements and up some small hills you get a feel for what cycling in Uganda is like. When you get back you can jump in the pool, relax and get ready for the rest of the week.

DAY 2: Jinja - Bukomba

From now we follow the Nile along a combination of gravel and single tracks. We drive over the brand new Isimba dam before finishing at our basecamp. Let's cross swimming in the Nile off our bucket lists!

DAY 3: Bukomba - Kazwana

We start with single tracks trough small villages. Once on the ‘main’ road we follow it, just before Lake Kyoga we take the bridge. After the bridge we continue on single tracks till the campsite in Kazwama. At our campsites our local cooking team will prepare a small lunch and diner!

DAY 4: Kazwana - Ziwa Rhino Park

We start the day with a 14 km red trail to Nakasongola, where we follow the asphalt road for 1 km. Don't forget: keep left! After the village center, we continue our journey for 50 km along an old abandoned sandy road. Please note: at the end of this road, we cross a busy main road. We then drive another 7.5 km to the entrance of Rhino Park.

DAY 5: Ziva Rhino Park - Ibuje

After 7.5 km off-road, we cross the same busy main road as the day before. We drive another 8 km along the sandy road until we take the main road in Kibangya to cross the Kafu River. After a short stretch of asphalt, we arrive at a track that will lead us to Massindi Port. There we gather to cross the Nile together by ferry. On the other side of the Nile, we continue along a red track to our base camp in Igoti. Here we also visit our school!

DAY 6: Ibuje - Karuma

From Itwara, we drive along the Nile to Karuma Falls. After a short stop at the bridge over the Nile, we continue to the park entrance. We gather at the entrance to Murchison Falls National Park. We drive through the park as a group to the lodge.

DAY 7:Transfer to the airport
After enjoying the final location we have the option for a game drive in the morning. Before heading back to the airport.
